So most games are blacked out for my area. Still have to pay to see the boys. Let's hope this is the year they make some hay. |

Saw that Ontario is allowing Pearson to serve alcohol 24/7 now. This is a big step for a developing nation like Ontario, it really shows that we're ready to join the civilized world. |

FWIW, the Blue Jays were the runner-up for Francisco Lindor. Don't know specific players, but I'm told their offer had what is probably a higher ceiling yet was centered on long-term prospects. Cleveland chose the package from the Mets b/c it balanced short- and long-term help.
they tried..at least |

My hope is that this pandemic will show how useless so many of our regulations are. Maybe we can move forward without so many in the future.

This is the year!
If they can't win the division and get out of the 1st round then it's never gonna happen. |

I was once in Frankfurt Airport at like 7 am, and guys were hoisting giant steins.
Even I couldn't fathom having a beer at that hour.
P.S. first time I ever saw a t-shirt being sold for more than $100 - it was a mockup of the German soccer jersey.
WTF? |

If I'm not working when I land, I'm drinking at the airport bar no matter what time it is. In fact, when I go on any kind of vacation, I show up at the airport hours before my flight so I can have time for at least 3 pints before takeoff. It's almost the best part of the vacation... you get into the plane, they feed you by the time you get beer munchies, and by the time you've had your coffee and brandy then you're ready for sleepy time. |

When you land???
Edit: I realize what you mean is that if you are not working when you eventually land, you start drinking before your flight. I had originally read it as you were drinking in the airport after arrival, which seemed a little odd.
An airplane is about the only place I don't like to drink. I'm guessing it's something about the dry/pressurized air or something, but I always feel more nauseated than buzzed.
And of course I'm a serial pisser - once I break the seal...not good on an airplane. |

At least it wasn't a t-shirt with tire marks on the back...
All I know is when a new Civil War breaks out, and it will, I will be protecting myself by hoarding as much Molson Ice as I can. So I will be rolling up to the border in a large truck and ask "Can I crash at your place, I brought beer". |

It's funny how one country's piss is another country's premium beer.
In Canada, Molson Ice is for 17 year old boys who want to get as drunk as possible, as quickly as possible, for as little money as possible.
Amstel is considered premium in Canada - in Europe, it's for the homeless.
And then there's Corona... |
